About Us

Marina Isrealyan has two decades of experience as a licensed family care provider. She established Discovery Land on her own and employs excellent teachers and experienced assistants.

The teachers offer daily lessons designed to foster creativity and learning. Preschool teachers lead the children in story time, play, music, creative art projects, social skills development, and pre-K curriculum and learning

Marina and her staff also assist with potty training and keep the environment comfortable for beginners, as well as older kids who may have occasional accidents. Marina makes sure to communicate with parents about their kids progress and daily achievements.

Marina and her staff are CPR and First Aid certified by the American Red Cross.

Music

Our music teacher visits once a week for music, singing and dancing.

Arts and Crafts

Our wonderful arts and crafts teacher does a variety of activities with the children, including cutting paper, coloring, painting, pasting and gluing, creating greeting cards, collages and other exciting projects.

Yoga

We stretch and breathe while we do cobra or upper dog, cat and cow yoga poses (asanas) once a week with our yoga teacher.

Spanish

Our Spanish teacher visits once a week to teach us new words, songs and games in Spanish language.

Circle time

During circle time, we read stories and focus on learning our ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors, and opposites.

Library time

Every Monday we visit Ortega library for a story time.
